Meet the MCS Control Systems Team
Steve Poole
Managing Director
W.J.Holdings Ltd Group Managing Director, Steve Poole has led the MCS group, since acquiring the business in 1989. He has been the driving force in the success of the group, which has become one of the UK’s leading providers of systems solutions and integration.
Steve has been involved in the industry for over 30 years and has worked for the business since it was formed in 1975.
He has utilised his foresight and knowledge of the electrical and electronic controls industry, from grass roots level to high level software systems, to develop a group of companies, which is at the forefront of the latest technological innovations, with a client list including a number of household names and blue chip companies.
Owing to his knowledge of all aspects of the business, working his way from shop floor to Managing Director, Steve has earned and retained the respect of all the MCS employees.
Steve has a long-term vision for the future, this combined with his passion for success and his dedicated management team, has developed a commitment and strategy to continue the sustained growth and success of the company.
Ray Armstrong
Engineering Director B. Eng(Hons), C. Eng, MAPM, MInstMC, MIEE
Ray joined MCS Control Systems in 2005 and has held numerous senior positions within the Food, Materials Handling, Process and Systems Integration industries.
Ray is a Chartered Engineer and a Member of the Association for Project Managers.
Having been a customer and a supplier, Ray has a clear understanding of customers needs and expectations and has a proven track record for the delivery of large complex projects spanning numerous industries.
Kevin Parsons
Financial Director
Kevin joined MCS Control Systems in 1989 as a Technician and has progressed through the company to Financial Director.
Through this, Kevin has a significant amount of experience in the delivery of systems solutions through a variety of markets sectors including but not limited to Water Utilities, Power, Automotive, Materials Handling, Aerospace, Food/FMCG and Chemical.
Stewart Foster FTC
Sales Director
Stewart joined MCS in 1992 having previously held senior positions within the Packaging and Food industry.
A qualified Engineer with 30 years experience of the systems integration business with industry specialisation from Utility, Automotive, Food, Beverage, Packaging, Material Handling and Pharmachem.
He provides a considerable spectrum of knowledge both technically and commercially to MCS.
